according to incomplete statistics, at present, there are more than 100 manufacturers engaged in degradable plastics in China, and a development system combining production, study and research has been formed. Nearly 100 twin-screw degradation masterbatch production lines have been built, with a production capacity of about 100000 tons. Some enterprises have been officially put into production or batch production, with an output of about 20000 ~ 30000 tons

at present, degradable plastic mulching film is in the stage of demonstration application, disposable packaging materials and household sundries are being orderly introduced to the market, and some masterbatches and products have entered the international market. Fully biodegradable plastic products in the pilot stage are also actively exploring the market in medical materials, high-end packaging materials, dressings and other fields
