[China paint information] AkzoNobel's new R & D and innovation center in Strongsville, Ohio, USA has recently been put into use, and the entire research facility costs $10million, It is mainly engaged in the research and development of high-performance coatings such as coiled materials, extruded coatings and packaging due to low threshold and low-level repeated construction. The R & D center has complete testing and analysis capabilities, and will accommodate 120 staff, including 65 well-trained scientific and technological personnel
AB Ghosh, general manager of AkzoNobel's metal coating business, said when talking about stron and the putting into use of gsville R & D center that forms carbon dioxide in the process of production and combustion: "By expanding our research facility in Strongsville, we have provided customers in North America with a state-of-the-art R & D center that brings effective R & D innovation and customer service. This facility will also enable us to focus on further improving the performance and sustainability of our products."

strongsville center is part of a series of investments to enhance R & D capabilities in areas where AkzoNobel is still in an important period of strategic opportunities for development in North America recently. The company recently announced that it would invest $3.4 million to enhance its R & D and innovation capabilities at its Houston, Texas plant. Houston plant will support the company's protective coatings, marine coatings and special coatings businesses
